Wireless Messaging

  • Chat wirelessly with other Meshtastic-compatible devices, directly from your Pager. Unlike most Meshtastic devices, a separate phone app is not required.

  • Meshtastic is an open-source protocol that creates a wireless mesh network between devices using LoRa.

  • LoRa is a long-range wireless technology that transmits data many times further than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

 LoRa Toolkit and Development Platform

  • Capture packets as .pcap files containing Meshtastic, LoRaWAN, and other LoRa protocols to the SD card.

  • Analyze radio spectrum to locate nearby wireless devices and determine their channels.

  • Develop custom applications for the on-board SX1262 radio module using the Hacker Pager’s open source firmware and hardware.

Why is it out of stock?

  • The Hacker Pager is a low-volume item, hand-assembled by us. We’re making more on an ongoing basis, so check back later and join our Discord #hackerpager or enter your email address above for stock updates.

Will you be at DEF CON 33?

  • Definitely! We will be bringing reserved stock to the upcoming DEF CON conference. Buy from us on-site and immediately receive a pager. Please check our Discord #hackerpager at the conference for instructions.

Are the PCBs green or white?

  • Some of our photos show a pre-production green PCB, but all shipping pagers will have white PCBs with silkscreened artwork. All pagers have black plastic bodies with transparent green, orange, or pink panels (depending on your selection above).
